Reverse every PDF page or only a continuous page range
About this tool
Reverse all pages with all, or reverse one continuous range containing at least two pages. Preview the same complete ordering used by export; empty input is not an alias for all. One PDF with 2–80 pages and up to 20 MiB. One output PDF with the same page count, at most 100 MiB. Forms, XFA, widgets, signature permissions and portfolios are rejected. Digital signatures do not remain valid; outlines, attachments and cross-page destinations are not rebuilt. Review ordinary annotations after downloading. PDF content is processed locally, with manual downloads after the complete operation succeeds.
Scenario Recipes
Reverse one misfed section while keeping the cover
Goal: An explicit continuous range is inclusive at both ends. Only that segment changes position; the cover and pages outside the range stay in place.
- Open the PDF and enter 2-5 to retain the first and last pages in place.
- Verify the preview is 1,5,4,3,2,6. Use all only when every page should reverse.
- Confirm, generate and manually download; compare the first and last page of the changed section.
Result: New PDFs match the reviewed source-page mapping and are downloaded manually for inspection.
Failure Clinic (Common Pitfalls)
The range is left empty
Cause: An empty field does not express an intentional whole-document operation.
Fix: Enter all explicitly or a valid ascending range such as 2-5; single-page and comma-separated ranges are not accepted.
Generated files disappear after a change
Cause: Output bytes belong to the source files and settings used to create them.
Fix: Review and generate again after changing options, order, sources, clearing or switching language. Old downloads do not continue.
A form or signed document is rejected
Cause: Forms, XFA, widget annotations, signature permissions and portfolios are rejected. Page copying does not preserve valid digital signatures or rebuild outlines, attachments and cross-page destinations. Ordinary annotations need output review.
Fix: Use an export or flattening workflow that explicitly supports those features, and retain the original document.

Does 2-5 include both ends?
Yes. In a six-page source it produces 1,5,4,3,2,6; pages 1 and 6 stay in place. The range must contain at least two valid pages.
Can I leave the range empty to reverse everything?
No. Enter all explicitly. Empty input, *, a single page and multiple comma-separated ranges are rejected.
Will existing signatures remain valid after reversal?
No. Rewriting a PDF does not preserve digital-signature validity. Form and signature-permission profiles are rejected by this page-copy workflow.
